A critical part of the seminar was hearing directly from delegates, through discussion groups, about the challenges facing Ireland’s HR community today. Taking the information from the group discussions, and combining that with the post event feedback, we now have a much clearer understanding of both current issues as well as emerging priorities.

Findings

Key messages from delegates both on the day and post-event included:

  • Maintaining HR and the people profession’s role as strategic partners in their organisations;
  • The importance of having practical solutions and experience led advice and support to consider and/or adopt; and
  • Having a voice in how we reimagine Ireland’s talent.

As your professional membership body, we are listening to what you are telling us you need. In response, we have designed our 2021-22 work programme across five pillars of activity of which Reimagining Ireland’s Talent is one:

CIPD Ireland Pillars are: Covid-19 (the organisational response), People(culture, inclusion and diversity), Reimagining Ireland's Talent, Research (what the PP need to know), and Wellbeing

And we need you to help us develop this work further.
