What does my membership fee pay for?

It allows us to develop content and resources to help you in your studies and your career, and to deliver member benefits like People Management magazine. Membership fees also support our research and policy programmes.

We aim to keep fees as low as we can and any surplus we make, we invest back into the organisation so we can continue to champion the profession and support members to make their best impact in the changing world of work.

Do you adjust your fees depending on the time of year when people join?

Yes. Our membership year runs between 1 July and 30 June and at certain times of the year we adjust our fees. Please call us to find out more.

When do I need to join as a Student member?

We recommend that you join once you have enrolled onto your qualification so you have access to our great study resources.

Why do I have to pay a joining or rejoining fee?

This is an administration fee to either set up your membership record or to retrieve and reactivate your record.

Can I put my membership on hold?

Sorry, we aren’t able to put memberships on hold. If you’re having financial difficulty you may be eligible for financial assistance. Otherwise please call us and let us know your situation.
