Student Conference, 7 March 2017
Over 100 students of HR and L&D joined the CIPD for our first Student Conference to be held in Ireland. Students ventured to the conference from all corners of Ireland, North and South, illustrating the importance of engaging with issues of relevance to HR and L&D present and future, the shape of the industry and the profession of the future.
How to grow your talent pipeline, 23 January 2017
This seminar addressed what is happening in talent management in Ireland. We brought together great insights, thought leaders and examples of what companies are doing to explore how we address the challenges in our labour market, to attract and grow the talent and skills pipeline for the future.
EAPM Meetings and ACE, 8-10 November 2016
Mary Connaughton represented CIPD Ireland at the European Association of People Management (EAPM) meetings in Manchester. She was also at the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition, the largest HR event in the UK.
